The Journal publishes conference proceedings, articles and brief reports, concerning results of research in military and historical area in English and Russian languages. The article dateline is in English.
The journal history. The history of Military Journal can be divided into three stages: 1. 1858–1917. The journal was published monthly by the War Ministry of the Russian Empire in Saint Petersburg; 2. 1922–1930. The journal was published once a year by the Society of Military History Enthusiasts in Belgrade; 3. Since 2013 the journal has been published quarterly by the Publishing House Researcher in Sochi. Since 2017 – twice a year. 4. From 2018 to 2020 the journal was published in Slovakia. 5. From 2021 to the present, the journal has been published in the USA.
Publication fee We accept articles free of submission and publication charges.
Copyright The submission of manuscripts to Voennyi Sbornik implies the transfer by the authors of the right for printed and digital publication. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication. As this journal is of open access, the articles are allowed for free use, in scientific, educational, non-commercial applications, with citation of the source. This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution.
